Some Early Old-Time Bristol Houses In-Person / Online

Are you interested in Bristol’s early architecture and the stories of those houses? Join Bristol Historical & Preservation Society and the Rogers Free Library’s Historian Rei Battcher at 2:00pm on June 5 to explore the history of Bristol’s oldest houses

Using the research that he has done for the BH&PS’s Historic Plaque Program, Battcher will talk about what we know about the construction of these houses, interesting events that occurred within them, and the history of some of the inhabitants that lived in them. He will also talk about the plaque process and how he knows what he knows about Bristol’s history.

This event is free and open to the public. This lecture will also be offered on Zoom. Participants should register to attend either in person or virtually below.
