Warm Advocates for the Cause of American Liberty: A History of Bristol's Revolutionary-Era Veterans In-Person / Online

This talk will tell the story of the Revolutionary War from the perspective of Bristol. Some Bristolians marched away to fight with the Continental Army. Others served with the militia, defending Bristol itself. All of them played a part in the fight for Independence.

C.J. Wolanski is a Revolutionary War reenactor and researcher from the Providence area. He has spent the past two academic years as an intern with the Bristol Historical and Preservation Society, and spends much of his free time continuing to research Bristol’s Revolutionary veterans.

This is a Bristol 250th Anniversary Event sponsored by the Bristol HIstoric & Preservation Society and the Rogers Free Library.

Registration is required for both the in-person and Zoom option.
