Into the Garden In-Person
In collaboration with the Bristol Art Museum this exhibit showcases art depicting Cultivated Nature.
A garden is a pallet for creating a habitat of beauty and function. Whether a small bed or a large eld, gardens may be organized or wild, boisterous or serene, ornamental or practical. These artistic works reflect the various definitions and senses of gardens.
The Juror for this exhibit is Barbara Edmund Healy. She is a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists along with the Cape Cod Art Center. A Connecticut native, Healy studied textile design at UMASS Dartmouth. She lives and maintains a studio in that region. The South Coast serves as an inspiration for her garden and landscape art.
