An American biographical musical drama loosely based on based on Elijah Wald's book "Dylan goes Electric!," which chronicles Bob Dylan's transition from folk to rock music, particularly his controversial performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. The movie portrays Dylan's early years in New York, his relationship with Pete Seeger, and the events leading up to his electric performance.  

"A Complete Unknown" received 8 Oscar nominations at the 2025 Academy Awards including Best Picture.
